& 2002. Its very simple just follow our easy to use

97
FrontPage
97 extensions are not compatible with the extensions of later
versions. You can use the program to create your pages, but you
cannot use it to publish the pages to the Internet.

Installing
FrontPage Extensions
In order to take advantage of the full functionality of FrontPage,
you will need to ask us to install FrontPage extensions if it has
not already been done.
Creating
a Simple Page
Before
you can publish a file to your website with FrontPage, you must
either have a page already created, or create a page. To create a
page with FrontPage, follow these simple steps:
1.
Go to the "File"
pull-down menu and select "New".
2.
In the white box, type "This
is a simple test".
3.
Go to the "File"
pull-down menu and select "Save As".
4.
Name and save the file.
Publishing
to the Internet
Once
you have installed FrontPage extensions and created a page, you are
ready to publish your page to the Internet.
1.
Go to the "File"
pull-down menu and select "Publish FrontPage Web..."
You
will see a screen like this.

2.
In the "Please specify the
location..." field, enter "http://yourdomain.com".
3.
Click "OK".
You
will see a screen like this.

4.
Enter the username and password for your FrontPage extensions.
5.
Click "OK".
Things
to Remember
-
Be
sure to call your home page "index.html".
-
Upload
your files to your "/www/htdocs" directory.
-
File
names should be lower-case with no spaces.
-
Upload
all related files (images, other pages, etc.).

We
also recommend that you always keep a current backup of your
files and databases on your local computer.
