Setting
Up Netscape Communicator
1.
Go to the "Edit" pull-down menu and select
"Preferences".
2.
Click on the plus sign, "+", next to
"Mail & Newsgroups" and select
"Identity".

3.
Enter
the following information.
Your
name - Enter the name that people will see when they
receive email from you.
Email
address - Enter the email address of an account which
you have already created through your control panel.
4.
Click on "Mail Servers" in the menu on the
left.
5.
Enter the following information.
Outgoing
mail (SMTP) server - Enter your ISP's outgoing mail
(SMTP) server.

In
the "Use Secure Layer..." section,
make sure the "Never" option is
selected.

6.
In the "Incoming Mail Servers" section, click
"Add".
7.
In the popup window, enter the following information.
Server
Name - Enter your incoming mail server: "mail.yourdomain.com".
Server
Type - Select "POP3 Server".
User
Name - Enter the username you entered when you created
the email account in your control panel.
8.
Check the "Remember password" check box.

9.
Click "OK" to close the "Mail Servers
Properties" box.
10.
Click "OK" to close the
"Preferences" box
